About the role

  • Architect, deploy, and manage AWS-based infrastructure (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, Fargate, Lambda, SQS)
  • Own infrastructure as code strategy using Terraform and Terragrunt
  • Identify and resolve system vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks
  • Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management
  • Serve as escalation point in on-call rotation and conduct post-incident reviews
  • Manage and maintain ELK stack for observability
  • Define project priorities and manage deadlines independently
  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes (EKS)

Requirements

  • Active TS clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role (preferred)
  • Deep, hands-on proficiency with Terraform and Terragrunt
  • Extensive experience authoring and maintaining complex Ansible playbooks
  • Expert-level knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, Fargate, Lambda, SQS)
  • Strong production experience running HA EKS environments
  • Experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
  • Deep expertise in Docker and hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and Helm
  • Extensive experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins or GitHub Actions
  • Extreme ownership and self-management
