Backend Engineer

• Two Six Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Backend Developer to actively participate in the design, build, test, implementation, and sustainment phases of a sensor data aggregation product. In this role, you will join a research and product development team and will be responsible for building and maintaining relevant applications, services, APIs, and user-interfaces related to cloud-hosted data management platforms. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter that has a passion for learning, and has a history of working very closely with data. This is a full time, remote position.
• What you will do:
• Leverage experience with the principles of large-scale (terabytes) database development, data modeling, data mapping, data testing, data quality, and technical data GUI UI/UX
• Utilization of open source libraries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) complex datasets
• Design and develop related web-based user-interfaces
• Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms
• Work directly with users in the field to implement new features and debug issues
• Provide technical/functional guidance, and support to other team members
• Work closely with product owners and managers to develop engineering roadmaps

• Architect, deploy, and manage AWS-based infrastructure (EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, Fargate, Lambda, SQS)
• Own infrastructure as code strategy using Terraform and Terragrunt

Senior Product Manager

• Two Six Technologies builds, deploys, and implements products providing Information Advantage to government, military, and private sector customers
• Products collect and synthesize large quantities of publicly available multilingual data for querying and machine learning analytics
• Develop and enhance high-volume data storage and querying solutions for human analysts and machine learning
• Create proofs-of-concept and prototypes and build scalable, production-ready solutions

Overview of Opportunity: Two Six Technologies is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to work on multi-domain platforms serving critical national security functions. In this role, you will be a part of the data team that is responsible for maintaining several internally-developed data migration tools and all data model changes. You’ll be working closely with developers that have experience with these tools to learn them, eventually taking ownership of many aspects of those tools. The ideal candidate for this position will be a self-starter that has a passion for learning, and has a history of working very closely with data.
This is a full time, remote position but the working hours of this position are flexible, with core business hours between 10am and 3pm eastern time M-F.
What you will do:
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop requirements and solutions to complex software and data needs
Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms
Work directly with users in the field to implement new features and debug issues
Be available outside of business hours a few times a month to support production deployments

• Develop and articulate a clear, scalable manufacturing strategy aligned with Two Six Technologies’ growth strategies in the national security, IC and commercial communities
• Drive scale-up strategies for classified and mission-critical hardware solutions
• Partner with R&D to ensure that design-for-manufacturing principles are embedded early in the process
• Envision, design and lead end-to-end manufacturing operations: prototyping, testing, supply chain, logistics, quality control, packaging, and delivery
