About the role

  • Two Six Technologies builds, deploys, and implements products providing Information Advantage to government, military, and private sector customers
  • Products collect and synthesize large quantities of publicly available multilingual data for querying and machine learning analytics
  • Develop and enhance high-volume data storage and querying solutions for human analysts and machine learning
  • Create proofs-of-concept and prototypes and build scalable, production-ready solutions
  • Operate in a collaborative Agile environment, focusing on team success and continuous improvement
  • Consider security best practices throughout development
  • Independently identify and solve problems and participate in peer code reviews
  • Work closely with application engineers (mostly Python) to implement scalable solutions for loading, generating, aggregating, and analyzing data
  • Create and execute both manual and automated testing

Requirements

  • Extensive experience with the full Elasticsearch stack, including indexing and search APIs, and Kibana
  • Experience with SQL database technologies, ideally Postgres
  • Experience with AWS or similar cloud-based infrastructure
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with the design, development, testing, and support of scalable, data-driven applications deployed to production SaaS environments
  • Experience working independently and as part of an Agile team
  • Comfortable with both SQL and noSQL databases
  • Experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Experience working with data in multiple languages is a plus
  • Familiarity with organizing data for NLP and generative AI
  • Participation in peer code review and creating/executing manual and automated testing
