About the role

  • You'll work closely with the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, CFO, company leadership, and partners across our demand generation, marketplace operations, and talent acquisition to drive executive-level business impact and power our company-wide forecasting & planning.
  • Strategic Finance is a fast-paced, high-impact team that manages Two Chairs’s near and long range financial plans, setting company and organization-level goals.
  • You’ll lead a team developing deep cross-functional partnerships & domain expertise to proactively identify opportunities to strengthen our business, and execute on our strategy.
  • You'll be responsible for leading growth & margin planning, embedded support for the operating teams executing on the plan, translating complex financials into clear narratives for non-Finance leaders, financial forecasting and reporting, developing materials for our board and investors, and serving as a force multiplier for strategic decision making.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in a highly analytical role - preferably in strategic finance & business partnerships at a high-growth company, investment banking and/or private equity - with 3+ years in a management capacity
  • Embed deeply within operating teams to create trusted business partnerships that consistently deliver exceptional financial results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – with the ability to clearly frame complex problems in a simplified way, and distill key drivers & recommendations for executive leadership
  • Experience analyzing and generating insights from large data sets – with a strong grasp of financial statements, reporting and modeling
  • Expert in Excel, Proficiency with financial analysis and data analytics tools (eg. Looker, SQL, Pigment, Workday Adaptive, Anaplan) preferred
  • Team-first mentality, willing to roll up sleeves and dive in where needed; comfortable wearing many hats and managing competing priorities
