About the role

  • Work with the Marketing Manager to develop a profitable 5-year innovation pipeline, building 5-year plan and budget presentations
  • Lead development of innovation, from platform generation and ideation through to fully validated concepts
  • Leverage macro trends, insights and consumer curiosity to develop winning propositions - working closely with Insights teams
  • Build business cases for key initiatives, considering consumer, category, competitor and company
  • Develop commercially viable P&Ls and own the pack price architecture for key initiatives
  • Lead packaging design development and execution
  • Develop integrated go-to-market plans, working with the connections team to drive an impactful launch across the consumer journey and manage investment
  • Work closely with category and commercial teams to build category strategies and retailer engagement plans; Brand lead in retailer engagements
  • Own project delivery, leading a cross functional team to deliver key strategic projects into market
  • Lead the stage and gate process and governance, managing changes to plan, resource requirements and innovation mix
  • Monitor in market NPD performance, leading post launch reviews and learnings – iterating in-flight and providing recommendations on how to optimise, scale or pivot
  • Represent the voice of brand throughout the business, bringing stakeholders on the journey and securing buy in to brand strategy and key initiatives

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or Business Management
  • Proven experience in FMCG marketing roles, with a focus on innovation / NPD
  • A blend of creativity and commercial acumen – can think big and knows how to execute
  • Track record of successfully launching and executing NPD, within the FMCG industry
  • Confidence and ability to influence stakeholders across all levels
  • Experience leading the stage and gate process and leading or managing PMR
  • Computer literacy skills & proficient in Microsoft suite
  • Ability to work flexibly with the global team, engaging in calls outside of regular office hours
