About the role

  • Define Horizon 3 strategy: Lead the exploration of various technological trends, their implications for business and thus areas of opportunity for Twilio
  • Drive Product Vision: Lead discovery and definition of innovative product opportunities. Align user needs, technical feasibility, and business objectives.
  • Rapid Experimentation: Design and manage the lifecycle of early prototypes, MVPs, and proofs-of-concept. Leverage lean and agile methodologies to iterate quickly.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work directly with engineering, research, design, and go-to-market teams to transform breakthrough concepts into user-ready solutions.
  • Market & User Research: Conduct customer interviews, gather market intelligence, analyze usage patterns, and synthesize insights from early testing to inform ongoing project direction.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate strategic vision, product rationale, and outcomes to executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (5+ years) as a Product Manager or Product Strategy Lead, ideally in a technology/enterprise SaaS, platform, or developer-centric environment.
  • Track record of launching new products, features, or experimental projects—ideally with experience in 0→1 product development or R&D environments.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies (AI/ML, developer tools, workflow automation, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and user research skills; data-driven but comfortable with ambiguity and hypothesis-driven decision making
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling ability to convey vision and inspire action
  • Technical acumen; able to collaborate closely with engineering and research teams and ability to draw business implications from technological trends
  • Entrepreneurial mindset; eager to take calculated risks, iterate rapidly, and learn from failure as well as success
  • BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
