About the role
- Develop solutions independently and with team members; design software for modularity and flexibility and write maintainable, well-tested code
- Help define, break down and prioritize work in partnership with the team
- Research industry trends, provide analysis, and develop proof-of-concepts
- Work with LLM providers and services responsible for Memory and Retrieval Augmented Generation
- Provide technical leadership via code reviews and whiteboarding sessions
- Work with Tech Lead to set up standard methodologies for area of ownership
- Work with TypeScript, Python, and Go
- Occasionally travel for project or team in-person meetings
Requirements
- 6-10 years hands on experience as an engineer writing production-grade code in a modern programming language (language agnostic)
- Passion for emerging technologies and staying up to date on their latest developments
- Proven track record of shipping products to production, testing ideas early with customers and iterating rapidly on their feedback
- Exceptional collaboration skills and ability to partner across the organization
- Strong customer focus
- Experience building a product from idea to product-market fit (zero to one) (desired)
- Experience with Typescript, Python, or Go (desired)
- Experience working on the development of products or features which leverage LLMs (desired)
- Builder mentality — hands-on experience bringing projects to life (desired)
- Must be eligible to work remotely in the United States (role not eligible in CA, CT, NJ, NY, PA, WA)
