About the role

  • Sell into high-value prospects and customers across EMEA with a focus on UK/I.
  • Manage fast-growing customers and a set list of key accounts.
  • Grow revenue and gross profit share of wallet through cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Source net-new opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Open doors for purchase of Twilio products and services (voice, messaging, email, contact centre, account security software).
  • Create pricing proposals, negotiate terms and manage the contract process.
  • Sell solutions to both technical and business audiences and build trust with technical customers and peers.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and manage multiple projects/deals simultaneously.
  • Communicate complex contractual, technical, and financial details clearly and simply.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Account Management/Sales experience covering selling and closing complex technical solutions to a large customer base.
  • History of working with accounts ranging from large multinational enterprise customers to SMB.
  • Demonstrated success by achieving quota on a consistent basis.
  • Track record of Account Management experience and a solid understanding of how to cross and upsell solutions within a mature customer base.
  • A solid understanding of financial reporting within a direct customer base - Revenue and Gross Profit tracking, Risk and Opportunity (net new business) cadence.
  • Ideally experience selling to both business and technical audiences.
  • Ideally experience in the communications market (Messaging, Voice Calling, Email, Account Security/Verification) or traditional telecommunications experience.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%
