About the role
- Lead the North sub-region of EMEA sales, reporting to the VP of Sales, EMEA, and drive strategy, execution, and growth.
- Lead FLMs and AEs to acquire and expand customer relationships and scale Twilio’s presence in the UK/I market.
- Build a predictable business that can meet and exceed ambitious quarterly and annual growth targets.
- Develop and execute GTM strategies: identify and grow key verticals and use cases; tailor GTM approaches across heterogeneous countries; build repeatable outbound programs; drive cross-functional alignment; collaborate with Partner team to align direct sales with partner-led strategies.
- Spend significant time in-market meeting directly with customers and prospects and represent Twilio with senior stakeholders.
- Support team pipeline and deal execution, conduct weekly 1:1s with each team member, and provide tactical and strategic deal guidance and career development.
- Stay customer-focused, be metrics-driven, embrace a consultative sales approach, and run a disciplined forecast; consistently exceed goals and deliver guidance to executive management.
- Build and lead a high-performing team to deliver optimized margins and strong gross profit results.
Requirements
- 10+ years of solutions selling experience at a software company, including 5+ years of experience in CPaaS, and 3+ years sales leadership including second line sales leadership.
- Deep understanding of the messaging, voice, email, and CCaaS competitive landscape in Northern Europe with a structured perspective on how Twilio can win.
- Proven ability to balance scale GTM approaches with localized execution across Northern Europe while dedicating meaningful time in-market to build relationships and drive opportunities.
- Proven ability to assess, develop, and reshape teams while mentoring, coaching, and inspiring them to achieve continually improving results; skilled in defining goals, success metrics, and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong consultative relationships with external partners and internal cross-functional teams at all levels.
- Data driven decision making and quantitative analytical skills, with strong pipeline and forecast management skills.
- Track record of upholding the highest standards in pipeline discipline, forecasting accuracy, and sales hygiene, with history of meeting and exceeding revenue goals.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels of the customer and internal organization.
- A bachelor’s degree and prior work related experience or equivalent.
- Must enjoy engaging with all types of customers including application owners, software engineering leaders, product managers, entrepreneurs, and line-of-business leaders.
- Approximately 20% travel is anticipated.
- Role will be remote and based in the United Kingdom.
