About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ideate, develop, and release a specific short-form video series tailored for social platforms.
- Assist in growing Twilio's developer audience through short-form video that educates and entertains developers on Twilio's platform (Content Creation).
- Develop content concepts, outlines, and scripts for tutorials and explainers (Pre-Production).
- Regularly appear on camera to deliver engaging technical content.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to ensure content is technically accurate and aligned with developer needs.
- Partner with Brand and Marketing teams to review final edits for clarity and quality.
- Publish and maintain content across Twilio's developer channels and social platforms (Distribution).
- Use analytics and feedback to learn and continuously improve your storytelling.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in an accredited university as a Junior or Senior, preferably studying Computer Science, Communications, Film, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of how to create and edit short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
- Foundational knowledge of web-based technologies, including but not limited to APIs, and HTTP methods/requests.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language of your choice.
- Strong developer empathy and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Strong collaboration and project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic hands-on experience with video editing tools (e.g., Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar).
- Familiarity with tools for screen capture, livestreams, or recordings.
- Experience working with Airtable or similar tools for content planning and production workflows.
