About the role

  • HR Administration, Employee Relations & Policy
  • Partner with hiring managers to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
  • Assist with the recruitment process: posting openings, conducting interviews, and extending offers.
  • Assist with employee onboarding & orientation process, as needed.
  • Act as a first point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, concerns, and complaints.
  • Assist with workplace issues and investigations, providing guidance to management on appropriate actions.
  • Assist in the execution of special projects as directed by the PR&D Managers.
  • Payroll Coordination
  • Assist payroll function, as needed, with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Address and resolve employee payroll related inquiries in a timely and accurate manner.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a generalist HR role, including experience in employee relations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations at both the state and federal level.
  • Previous hospitality experience - hotel or restaurant, helpful.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-service-oriented approach.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive employee issues with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
  • Proactive problem solver who can balance empathy for employees with organizational needs.
