About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work closely with the Art Team and Creative + Development Team to understand project requirements and specifications
- Prepare printer-ready files for various packaging materials, including labels, folding cartons, rigid boxes, belly bands, corrugated cartons, influencer
- Evaluate client assets to make sure provided logos, illustrations and artwork are high-quality, and communicate to Development and Creative partners when updated assets are needed
- Optimize files for printing, ensuring they meet industry standards and our clients' specifications
- Display high level of accuracy and attention to details in artwork delivery
- Review design files for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines
- Conduct pre-press checks to identify and rectify any issues related to color accuracy, image resolution, and fonts
- Ability to relentlessly collaborate as well as work independently on several different projects at once
- Manage version control and file organization to ensure efficient production workflows
- Exercise judgment and project management skills, both personally and with team members, to balance priorities and communicate to teams to meet and exceed project deadlines and commitment
- Highly organized in maintaining production files to increase job efficiency and ensure that files and elements are easy to locate.
- Duties might include minor retouching, color correction, or artwork clean-up
- Proactive about deadlines and timeline executions
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3+ years as a Production Artist
- Adobe Creative Cloud - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator experience necessary
- Must have experience working with file releases for print production
- An understanding of color management techniques to maintain color consistency during print production.
- Proficient understanding of various print and finishing techniques, including hot stamping, embossing/debossing, the Pantone color system, special coatings, and die cuts.
- Ability to execute design tasks efficiently and accurately.
- Ability to work after-hours and on different time zones when necessary
- Must be flexible, open-minded, and respond to constructive criticism with revisions to designs and projects as necessary.
- Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, listening and decision-making skills.
