About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the Thrive program is implemented daily
- Facilitate the Thrive program through Life Enrichment Coordinators, Life Enrichment Assistants, and direct care team members
- Provide general oversight of the Courtyard community in cooperation with the Administrator and Health Care Coordinator
- Work closely with the Life Enrichment team and direct care staff to ensure a functional and appropriate program
Requirements
What you’ll need- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia
- At least one year of supervisory experience
- Prior background in senior living, social work, recreational therapy, or nursing preferred
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills required
- Good judgment, prioritization of duties, and effective problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s progression in older adults required
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
