About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Carry out community payroll operations in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable state and federal laws
- Perform duties under the supervision of the Payroll/HR Regional Consultant
- Handle general payroll duties related to compensation, employment status, and employee benefits
- Apply payroll accounting, best practices, and payroll application systems
- Manage payroll information accurately and confidentially
- Collaborate as a team member in a senior living and health care environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Fire and passion for working with seniors
- Flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- High school diploma, or equivalent, required
- Minimum of two years of prior payroll experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
- Current knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations
- Strong personal organization and time management with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook required
- Strong understanding of payroll accounting, payroll best practices, and payroll application systems
- Strong work ethic and ability to be a team player
- Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material required
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
