About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for planning, developing, organizing, evaluating, and directing the overall operation of the Social Services department.
- Ensure compliance with National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics and relevant guidelines.
- Foster a climate that enables residents to maximize their individuality, independence, and dignity.
- Identify psychosocial, mental, and emotional needs and provide appropriate services.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- Certified, licensed, or registered in the state of practice (LPN or RN)
- Minimum of two years of prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
