Business Office Manager
Tutera Senior Living and Health Care. Responsible for the overall management of business office activities in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standard guidelines and regulations, and as directed by the administrator.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the overall management of business office activities in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standard guidelines and regulations, and as directed by the administrator.
- Responsible for coordinating with the Central Billing Office on managing insurance payments, including private, Medicare, Medicaid, and other managed care.
- Manage refunds for accounts receivable, and maintain appropriate logs and reports, not limited to, resident funds, census records, and case accounts.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A fire and passion for working with seniors
- A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
- High school diploma, or equivalent, required
- Associates degree in business or accounting fields preferred
- Prior experience in business office operations in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required
- Must possess effective communication skills to maintain positive relationship with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, and governmental agencies, their representatives, and the community
- Current knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
