About the role
- supporting and carrying out the administration and management of Nursing Services to residents in accordance with orders of the physicians and total needs of the residents
- responsible for the 24-hour supervision of Nursing Services
- directing the Nursing Department to maintain quality standards of care
- assumes the responsibility for clinical operations in absence of the Director of Nursing (DON)
Requirements
- Currently licensed as a RN/LPN in the state in which you are practicing
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing school preferred
- Prior experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
- Two years of experience in a nurse supervisory role preferred
- Professional image in both appearance and behavior
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
