About the role

  • Support the Director of Project Management in managing new and existing client relationships.
  • Identify and act on cross‑selling opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver client presentations.
  • Serve as the civil engineering subject‑matter expert (SME) for data center development projects.
  • Lead and oversee civil engineering design efforts.
  • Manage a team of engineering consultants.
  • Monitor project progress and enforce safety and quality standards.
  • Provide technical guidance during construction activities.
  • Lead a small project management team responsible for planning and executing infrastructure projects.
  • Provide program‑level oversight of a portfolio of infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, or a related field; a graduate degree is preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in civil engineering design and project management within the construction or infrastructure industry.
  • Strong technical expertise in civil engineering design for large-scale developments; data center experience preferred.
  • Proven experience managing engineering consultants, reviewing technical deliverables, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage client accounts effectively and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience leading teams of project managers and technical staff.
  • Strong understanding of the full construction project life cycle, from early due diligence through design, permitting, and construction.
  • Business development experience, including identifying cross-selling opportunities and supporting proposal development.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of local civil engineering standards, permitting processes, and construction market conditions.
