About the role
- Draft motions, discovery, briefs, and related legal documents.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
- Participate in settlement discussions and prepare settlement agreements.
- Appear in court for hearings and law & motion.
- Engage in meet-and-confer efforts with opposing counsel.
- Assist with trial preparation and strategy.
- Perform legal research to support case development and motion work.
Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar
- Up to 3 years of civil litigation experience (consumer warranty experience is a plus but not required)
- Strong writing, research, and communication skills
- Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Motivated, dependable, and eager to develop litigation skills within a supportive environment
