About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own end-to-end delivery of features and services — from design through production operation.
- Design scalable, reliable distributed systems and drive key technical decisions.
- Debug and resolve production issues; improve reliability and performance.
- Raise code quality and design standards through thorough, constructive reviews.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a strong engineering culture.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and other teams.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6–8 years of software engineering experience, ideally at scalable product companies.
- Proven ownership: end-to-end delivery, production debugging, and mentoring more junior engineers.
- Strong distributed systems and cloud engineering skills (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Solid code quality, testing, and design practices.
- A track record with measurable scale, reliability improvements, and architecture participation.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and clear communication.
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related engineering field is preferred but not required — we weight work outcomes most heavily.
