Frontend Engineer

• Own architecture & technical strategy for our Web stack (client + server).
• Drive platform roadmaps, author RFCs/ADRs/TRDs, and make pragmatic build-vs-adopt/buy decisions.

Technical Lead, Web Engineering

• Raise quality end-to-end : uphold and evolve testing practices (unit/integration), quality gates in CI, and keep the pyramid healthy.
• Operational excellence: foster a sense of ownership, accountability, and urgency; partner with infrastructure teams on SLOs/error budgets; lead web-side incident response and follow-ups.
• Data & insights ownership: ensure apps are well-instrumented with standardized telemetry; set up actionable alerts for client-side errors, performance regressions, and revenue-critical signals (e.g., ad delivery/fill issues); define and track business health metrics (engagement, retention, conversion) in partnership with other teams, and use them to prioritize work.
• Performance leadership : own Core Web Vitals (LCP/CLS/INP) and page speed budgets; drive caching, bundling, code-splitting, and image/media optimization; partner with Design on perf-aware UX.
• Security & privacy by default : champion CSP, dependency hygiene, auth/session hardening, secret management, and data-handling best practices.
• Accessibility leadership: standardize a11y conventions and tooling (linters, component patterns, automated checks) and drive a roadmap toward WCAG 2.2 AA over time.
• Automation and CI/CD : improve build times and reliability; evolve pipelines (lint/format/typecheck/test/preview/release), progressive delivery, and safe, one-click rollbacks.
• Cross-functional collaboration : translate product goals into technical plans; set clear scope, risks, and milestones; communicate trade-offs clearly and succinctly to partners and leadership.
• Mentor & uplevel : coach senior engineers, run design reviews, set code quality standards, and model healthy engineering culture.
• Technical backlog stewardship : maintain and execute a prioritized roadmap and backlog of foundational investments (tech debt paydown, upgrades, resilience, security, developer experience).

Account Executive

The Role We are looking for an experienced cross-platform digital salesperson with a proven track record of developing new business and selling integrated advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate should possess high-level agency, DSP, and client direct relationships to sell through large-scale digital and/or programmatic programs. The Account Executive must be a self-starter who is able to work with clients to develop creative, compelling, and integrated advertising proposals that meet marketing objectives and sell the value of TuneIn. The position requires a deep understanding of the digital ecosystem and a proven track record of exceeding revenue goals in an ever-changing media sales environment. Scope of Work Work with leading brands to develop large-scale advertising programs focused on brands and agencies Own agency, DSP, and client relationships with a proven ability to penetrate target accounts Grow programmatic advertising revenues by creating, maintaining, and sustaining relationships with DSPs, direct clients, and agency trading desks Identify and prospect high-value partners whose ideal customer matches the TuneIn audience Prioritize target accounts to maximize sales. Direct digital relationships are key Help shape TuneIn’s overarching offering by creatively packaging campaign elements into compelling campaigns Strategize new and exciting opportunities for advertisers across both custom and tactical campaigns Adapt strategies, tactics, and pitches based on a content offering that changes seasonally Excel in an entrepreneurial environment and consistently exceed sales targets Update, forecast, manage pipeline, and track sales activity using Salesforce Negotiate with the agencies and buying teams Develop strategies and best practices to better monetize TuneIn’s inventory Qualifications 10+ years of experience as an Account Executive working in digital advertising Existing and proven relationships with agencies and DSPs A deep understanding of the digital + programmatic landscape – opportunities, challenges, best practices Working knowledge of the direct digital space focused on Music, News, Sports, and/or Audio Somebody comfortable ideating and pitching fully integrated, digital-facing campaigns that focus on tactical elements as well as custom content/executions Somebody who takes ownership: understands all elements and is hands-on with outgoing media plans, creative decks Understanding of the brand’s KPIs from a digital standpoint and the ability to navigate packaging across ad products across each part of the sales funnel Ability to build a pipeline and exceed revenue goals Somebody who enjoys problem-solving, creative thinking, and expectation management - A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment where things can change quickly, big opportunities develop with short notice, and limitations can create short-term hurdles Somebody comfortable wearing many hats in pursuit of a win, working to support other teams beyond the scope of their role, if that is what it takes to close business Ability to analyze performance data and provide optimization recommendations to maximize campaigns Ability to build strategic presentations and then dynamically present them to clients An understanding of Media Planning, Ad Tech, and the role of connected devices in the competitive digital landscape The role requires an enthusiastic and hardworking person who exudes passion for TuneIn’s unique platform and value proposition Experience working with relevant SSP partners such as Google Ad Manager, Magnite, Adswizz, Mopub (preferred) Working knowledge of 3rd party Measurement and Data partners (preferred) Our Benefits & Compensation Premium health plans for employees and eligible dependents, including dental and vision plans HSA and FSA Savings Paid parental leave Flexible PTO policy, in addition to paid holidays Wellness stipend Technology stipend Individual training and educational spending 401k Plan WFH one-time bonus TuneIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. To determine your compensation, we take a market-based approach, meaning pay may vary depending on your location, and we also carefully consider several factors, such as job-related knowledge, skills, and professional experience. The expected starting base salary for this position ranges from $140,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $200,000/year in our highest geographic market and may be modified in the future. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for variable compensation. The compensation package also includes a wide range of medical plans, a flexible PTO policy, parental leave, various stipends, and other benefits listed above, as well as an attractive equity package.
