About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and Grow Strategic Partnerships
  • Serve as the primary account owner for TuneIn’s most important existing partners across consumer electronics platforms.
  • Build deep, trusted relationships at multiple levels within partner organizations, from day-to-day operators to senior stakeholders.
  • Elevate TuneIn’s presence with partners by partnering with internal executives when senior-level engagement is needed.
  • Ensure partners clearly understand TuneIn’s value, roadmap, and impact on their products.
  • Drive Account Optimization & Operational Excellence
  • Lead the post-launch lifecycle of partnerships, including optimization, troubleshooting, enhancements, and amendments.
  • Coordinate technical issue resolution by working closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Operations (e.g., Jira workflows, escalation paths).
  • Translate partner needs into clear business requirements and action plans, without requiring deep technical authorship.
  • Set and maintain a clear cadence of partner check-ins (e.g., quarterly business reviews).
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration
  • Act as the connective tissue across Product, Ads, Marketing, Content, Design, Operations, and QA.
  • Ensure internal teams have a realistic, shared understanding of what TuneIn can expect from major partners (e.g., support models, escalation paths, and response timelines).

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 10+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years managing strategic partnerships or accounts at a senior level
  • Strong background working with consumer electronics partners
  • Experience operating at a Senior Manager or Director level, managing complex, high-visibility partners
  • Proven experience in startup or high-growth environments with ambiguity and evolving processes
  • Experience in ad-supported and/or subscription-based businesses strongly preferred.
