Assistant Marketing Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Establish an integrated marketing plan inclusive of PR, Events, social media, top and medium funnel of media advertising, partnering with the CRM and E-Commerce teams together to support the brand and product strategies.
- Develop and manage the communication calendar for the all-rounded PR, social media activation and events in line with the regional and global direction to drive the brand desirability.
- Drive all events efforts including press days, trunk shows, customer events and special projects.
- Proactively initiate product seeding, event sponsorship, joint promotion, and collaboration opportunity with right partners.
- Propose and lead all digital initiatives (including web-related, social media and online) appropriate for increasing brand awareness and further conversion.
- Optimize content considering SEO and Web Analytics for social and commerce platforms (Meta, Google, Tiktok, WeChat, Red Book etc.)
- Closely work with the regional marketing team, build the brand awareness, and maintain the clear and strong brand positioning by implementing HQ guidelines for the brand essence and brand growth.
- Work closely with the Retail, E-Commerce, and CRM teams to monitor sales performance, evaluate the executed or ongoing marketing programmes.
- Maintain brand consistency and excellence across different channels and target audiences.
- Stay up to date with retail market trend, consumer, and competitors to propose relevant and innovative solutions.
- Produce regular marketing reports for management decision.
- Regional Alignment – Propose a monthly “market insights” touchpoint with regional team
- PR Agency RFP Timeline – Set a Q4 2026 milestone to shortlist 2027 agencies
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Marketing or related disciplines
- 5–8 years’ experience in luxury/premium/beauty/FMCG with regional exposure; strong media & KOL network is a plus
- Well-rounded marketing experience (ATL, BTL, Digital); hands-on with social media, SEO/SEM, and web analytics
- Strong sense of responsibility with excellent communication, problem-solving skills, and a can-do attitude
- Proven ability to influence without authority and balance country needs effectively
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and collaborative; strong ownership and consumer-centric mindset
- Solid commercial acumen with ability to drive KPIs and evaluate campaign ROI and performance
- Experience managing agencies and tight launch timelines; able to work under pressure with strong communication skills
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin)
