About the role

  • Create a client experience that reflects the TUMI brand and build/maintain strong client relationships.
  • Drive sales through outstanding service and meet/exceed personal and store KPI goals (conversion, DPT, UPT, Client Data Capture).
  • Display initiative, plan and prioritize work, champion change, and take responsibility for performance and deadlines.
  • Train and develop store associates, perform quarterly personal development goalsetting, and help teach training content through roleplay and coaching.
  • Provide coaching and feedback using company tools to create a 360-degree coaching culture.
  • Exercise strong written and verbal communication; collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Manage personal timecards, maintain Tumi University training, and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure store visual guidelines are followed, enforce excellent client services, execute event strategies, and maintain a superior client experience.

Requirements

  • Understand the TUMI brand and have true passion for the lifestyle, clients, and product assortment.
  • Value a collaborative environment and have an openness to feedback.
  • The retail team stands, moves around the store, lifts, pushes boxes that weigh 30 pounds, and uses a ladder to complete job duties.
  • Have strong sales and client experience, preferably in the luxury market.
  • Can demonstrate proven success in meeting sales goals and achieving KPI’s.
  • Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, mornings, and holidays as needed.
  • Have a strong sense of integrity and an ability to lead by example.
  • Have strong time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; adapt communication upwards, laterally and to the team.
  • Ability to remain calm and deescalate situations.
  • Display a good sense of initiative, plan and prioritize, and demonstrate strategic thinking.
  • Experience training, coaching, and developing others; openness to feedback and roleplay coaching.
  • Ability to promote business goals and adapt flexibly to change.
