About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serves as primary escalation point for complex FMLA and multi-jurisdictional leave cases; partners with Senior ADA Specialist when accommodation is required.
- Interacts with the State of Massachusetts to provide MAPFML employer documentation to the state, including reports to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Provides advanced guidance to employees and managers on leave policies, eligibility, and procedures.
- Resolves escalated or complex leave cases, including intermittent leave, overlapping regulations, etc.; partners directly with Senior ADA Specialist on ADA‑related scenarios.
- Conducts audits of leave cases and payroll records to ensure proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
- Trains team members on the effective use of technology, process updates and changes to leave laws.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field AND Three (3) years of Human Resources or relevant Business experience with at least two (2) years of leave of absence experience OR ; Associate’s degree in a related field AND Five (5) years of Human Resources or relevant business experience with at least two (2) years of leave of absence case management experience OR ; High School Diploma or equivalent AND Seven (7) years of Human Resources or relevant business experience with at least two (2) years of leave of absence case management experience.
- Experience supporting employees through complex leave scenarios (intermittent leave, extensions, ADA accommodations).
