About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a portfolio of categories associated with the TTM Integrated Electronics product line
- Develop regional category strategies, including Preferred Supplier Lists, and drive implementation with internal stakeholders
- Continuously improve category and supplier strategies based on market dynamics and business model changes
- Identify market opportunities that enable innovation and mitigate supply-chain risks
- Lead negotiations with key suppliers on pricing, terms and conditions, vendor-managed inventory, and payment terms
- Develop win/win solutions with critical suppliers during major proposal activity
- Develop strategic relationships with targeted preferred suppliers
- Lead supplier business reviews to improve quality, delivery, technology, and cost performance
- Deliver security of supply, service and quality, and savings/cash for business needs
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5–10 years of category management and strategic sourcing experience, or related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or Engineering, with equivalent experience alternatives stated
- Experience in complex pricing and contract negotiations across multiple projects and programs
- Experience developing supplier relationships, supplier development, and supplier risk management
- Expertise in total cost management, cost modeling, and should-cost analysis
- Strong project management, organizing, and analytical skills
- Effective communication, presentation, team facilitation, and influencing skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, matrix environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Skill in business and spend analytics
- Familiarity with ERP tools such as Oracle and SAP
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Cognos, SharePoint, and similar applications
- A&D industry experience highly preferred
- Supply-chain certifications such as CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, CSCMP, CPL, or CPCM preferred
- Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and applicable ITAR, EAR, and OFAC laws
- Must identify ITAR products and understand access restrictions to US Citizens and US Permanent Residents
- Must understand and follow procedures for foreign visitors and US export shipments
- Must manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services
