About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and manage a team of Field Application Engineers supporting strategic OEM, Tier 1, and EMS customers.
Drive technical engagement strategies across the sales cycle—from pre-sales consultation and DFM support to post-sales optimization.
Serve as the primary technical liaison between customers and internal engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams.
Establish and maintain best practices for technical sales support, including proposal development, customer meetings, and design reviews.
Oversee technical training and onboarding for FAE staff, ensuring consistent global capabilities and messaging.
Translate customer requirements and feedback into actionable insights for product development, quality, and process improvement initiatives.
Lead technical presentations and consultations with key accounts, industry forums, and internal leadership.
Partner with marketing to develop technical sales tools, application notes, and customer-facing content.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline required.
12+ years of progressive experience in engineering roles within the PCB or electronics manufacturing industry.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership role managing technical, customer-facing engineering teams.
Experience working with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and global design teams preferred.
