About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Stand up and manage the IMO, defining workstream charters and timelines, tracking and reporting on metrics (KPIs/OKRs), identifying risks, and managing interdependencies.
Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans and manage cross-functional teams to ensure Day 1 readiness and seamless alignment of systems and processes.
Oversee and drive the end-to-end integration plans across functional areas, including Operations, HR, Legal, IT and Finance to ensure seamless alignment of systems and processes.
Translate deal strategy into actionable integration plans and roadmaps (e.g., 100-day plans) to achieve expected cost and revenue synergy targets and maximize ROI.
Manage employee retention, cultural integration, and internal/external communications.
Act as the single point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular status updates to the steering committee and senior management on progress, risks, and decision-making.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in M&A integration, corporate development, strategic finance, or management consulting.
Minimum of 10 years proven experience leading end-to-end post-close M&A integration for mid-to-large-scale transactions in a high-growth environment or corporate setting.
Deep understanding of the M&A lifecycle, including due diligence and post-merger integration processes.
Strong project management, financial acumen, and excellent executive-level communication skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, including developing timelines and managing budgets.
Strong leadership skills to drive consensus and make fast decisions, with the ability to influence without authority across cross-functional teams.
Broad understanding of business operations, including finance, human resources, and information technology systems.
Ability to travel (often up to 50%) to acquired sites.
