About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct analysis of externally available alternatives to meet detailed technical requirements for security and network infrastructure
Propose alternatives aligned with the client's architecture and according to best practices
Participate in meetings, gather requirements from clients, produce technical specifications, prepare documentation, and apply configurations and rules on firewall devices and network switches
University degree in IT/Telecommunications-related fields
Advanced knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, UNIX)
Knowledge of ITSM ticket management tools is desirable (HPSM, Remedy)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Preferably hold a university degree in one of the following: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems
Relevant courses and certifications in Security/Networking
Installation, configuration and administration of firewalls (Fortinet, Check Point, Juniper) in cloud and on-premises environments
Expected knowledge: firewall policies (NAT, rules, objects)
VPNs (site-to-site and IPSec VPNs for clients)
SSL inspection, web filtering, application control
High Availability (HA) configurations
Troubleshooting using logs, packet captures and flow tracing
Effective analysis of communication flows and security issues in complex environments
Ability to work effectively in high-performing teams
Minimum 8 years' experience working with enterprise security infrastructure and support tools
Excellent documentation skills for operational technical processes and procedures
Deep operational knowledge of AWS and Azure
