About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Strategically lead the definition of architectures, standards and technical decisions in large-scale application migration and modernization programs
  • Define and evolve reference architectures and enterprise standards for AWS and Azure
  • Lead application migration strategies (6Rs) and modernization processes (containers, serverless, PaaS)
  • Act as the technical authority on complex architectural decisions (multiple teams and projects)
  • Design and govern enterprise Landing Zones (security, identity, networking, compliance and operations)
  • Facilitate technical workshops and strategic discussions with clients (technical and executive levels)
  • Establish best practices for security, resilience (HA/DR) and observability
  • Define and promote FinOps practices and cost optimization at scale

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced expertise in AWS and Azure
  • Experience with containers (AKS / EKS), serverless and PaaS
  • Networking and hybrid connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute, Direct Connect)
  • Resilient architectures (multi-region, HA/DR)
  • Modern architecture: microservices, APIs, event-driven
  • IaC and automation (Terraform, Bicep/CloudFormation)
  • DevOps, CI/CD and observability practices
  • Cloud security (IAM, RBAC, Zero Trust, encryption)
  • FinOps concepts and practices
  • Solid IT experience (10–12+ years), with a strong focus on cloud architecture
  • Knowledge of enterprise architecture (TOGAF)
  • AWS and Azure certifications (professional/architect level)
