About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Key Responsibilities
- Work on strategic opportunities for Public Cloud, Private Cloud, hybrid environments, and professional and managed services, designing architectures aligned with clients' technical and business needs.
- Lead discovery activities, assessments, workshops, and requirements gathering, identifying opportunities for digital transformation, modernization, and environment optimization.
- Support migration, modernization, and workload transformation projects, including migration journeys from on-premises environments to AWS, Azure, and other public cloud platforms.
- Develop reference architectures for infrastructure, platforms, backup, disaster recovery, security, observability, and cloud governance solutions.
- Possess solid knowledge of Data Center and Cloud Computing technologies, being able to define migration, modernization, cloud-native services adoption, and application transformation strategies.
- Act as the primary technical liaison between clients, commercial teams, product, operations, and strategic partners, ensuring alignment between business objectives and the proposed solutions.
- Adopt a consultative approach with clients, promoting the adoption of hybrid cloud solutions, professional services, and managed services, delivering continuous business value.
- Conduct executive presentations, technical workshops, solution demonstrations, and training sessions for clients, partners, and internal teams.
- Recommend architectural improvements focused on security, availability, scalability, governance, operational efficiency, and cost optimization (FinOps).
- Support the definition of operational and sustainment strategies for cloud environments, considering governance, observability, automation, and industry best practices.
- Balance modern automation and continuous delivery practices such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps, and CI/CD with traditional service management models based on ITIL.
- Prepare technical documentation, solution architectures, commercial proposals, service scopes, architecture diagrams, and executive presentations.
- Perform technical and financial sizing of solutions, supporting proposal preparation, cost modeling, feasibility analyses, and executive presentations for decision making.
- Develop and present Business Cases that demonstrate the financial, operational, and strategic benefits of the proposed solutions, including ROI, TCO, payback analyses and value generation for the client.
- Identify, qualify, and leverage hyperscaler incentive programs, funding, and credits, supporting the structuring of more competitive proposals and accelerating customers' cloud adoption.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Technical Requirements
- Experience in Pre-Sales (Sales Engineering), Solutions Architecture, or Technology Consulting.
- Experience in architecture, migration, modernization, and sustainment projects in cloud environments.
- Advanced knowledge of at least one public cloud platform, preferably AWS, as well as Azure, IBM Cloud, Huawei, Google Cloud and OCI.
- Experience designing cloud-native, hybrid and multicloud architectures.
- Knowledge of Data Center infrastructure, virtualization, networking, storage, backup, disaster recovery and security.
- Experience with professional services, managed services and cloud operations.
- Knowledge of governance practices and frameworks, including FinOps, ITIL and Cloud Adoption Frameworks.
- Knowledge in automation and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools).
- Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals, financial modeling and building Business Cases.
- Knowledge of incentive and benefits programs from major cloud providers, especially AWS Migration Acceleration Program (MAP), funding programs, promotional credits and modernization and migration initiatives.
- AWS and/or Azure certifications (Solutions Architect, Cloud Practitioner, Specialty).
