About the role
- Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives) with a focus on outcomes, not just process
- Enable teams to plan effectively, manage commitments, and deliver consistently
- Identify and remove impediments, escalating when needed with clear context and solutions
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness and alignment to priorities
- Use delivery metrics (e.g., velocity, cycle time) to guide continuous improvement—not to enforce performance
- Improve team effectiveness, collaboration, and accountability over time
- Foster a psychologically safe environment where teams can raise risks, challenge ideas, and improve together
Requirements
- 3–6+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in a product or engineering environment
- Strong working knowledge of Scrum and agile principles, with the ability to apply them pragmatically
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams delivering software or digital products
- Confidence influencing without authority and navigating competing priorities
- Strong facilitation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Preferred: Scrum certification (CSM, PSM) and experience in scaling agile environments
