Serve as subject matter expert to solve problems, develop solutions, and assist program managers and business unit leaders in achieving financial, contractual and performance goals
Report to the Senior Contracts Manager and partner with Program Managers to research compliance issues, interpret regulations, and formulate recommendations
Build partnerships with program leadership to understand program and contract needs and negotiate favorable terms and conditions
Meet department metrics tracking contract value, ceilings, modifications, deliverables, and processing timeframes
Reduce risks through negotiation of key terms, assumptions, or clarifying conditions
Manage ad hoc requests and administer complex agreements across FFP, T&M, Cost-type, IDIQs, OTAs, etc.
Prepare negotiation strategies and lead contract administration from requirements definition through contract close-out
Support proposal process by reviewing solicitation requirements, developing cover letters, contracts and/or cost and pricing volumes, analyzing terms and conditions, and evaluating risk
Process new awards and modifications and maintain accurate contract records within the company’s Contract Management System
Become fluent in TSC’s business model, culture, Customers, and internal stakeholders; maintain diplomacy and tact when engaging with colleagues and external parties
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Contract Administration, or related field
8 or more years of defense contracting experience
Successful, demonstrated full life cycle contract administration experience
US Citizenship and possibly the ability to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance
Administration of and experience with both prime contractor issued subcontracts, and DoD issued prime contracts
Demonstrated knowledge of FAR and DFARS regulations
Experience preparing cost proposals, cost narratives and compliance matrixes
Experience with proposals requiring certified cost or pricing data and government audits (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
Business focused, solution and problem solving oriented
Professional certification in Contract Management (preferred)
