About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze costs and pricing strategies
Conduct market research with Business Development and Price-to-Win teams
Develop pricing models to optimize profitability and competitiveness in the defense and aerospace industry
Partner with Proposal and Program Teams to review RFPs/RFQs and develop cost and pricing models
Conduct detailed analyses of customer requirements, market trends, and competitive landscapes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies aligned with business objectives
Develop and document supportable Basis of Estimates (BOEs), Certified Cost and Pricing Data (CCPD), and Cost/Price Volumes
Analyze historical cost data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for pricing optimization
Build and maintain cost and pricing models

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field
2-4 years of cost, pricing, or program controls experience in defense industry
US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data
Understanding of DCAA/DCMA requirements and compliance regulations
Excellent communication skills
Experience with multiple contract types (CP, FFP, T&M, etc.)
Ability to work independently to meet critical deadlines without oversight
Demonstrated proficiency in utilizing ERP systems (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, SAP, Oracle) to extract, analyze, and validate cost data in support of pricing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting activities
Ability to collaborate in a team environment for complex problem solving.
