About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the revenue, growth, and P&L for the mortgage business; set targets, forecast accurately, and deliver against the plan.
- Define the go-to-market strategy for mortgage, including segmentation, pricing and packaging direction, and where to invest for growth.
- Align and drive Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Customer Success toward a shared mortgage plan and shared numbers.
- Hire, lead, and develop the team behind the mortgage business as it scales.
- Drive new logo acquisition, retention, and expansion across the mortgage customer base.
- Build senior relationships with key lenders and partners to open doors and accelerate the largest opportunities.
- Run the operating rhythm for the business, forecasts, pipeline reviews, and cross-functional planning, and represent it to leadership.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 10+ years of experience, including running a business line, segment, or region with ownership of revenue and results (GM, VP, or similar).
- Track record of owning a number and consistently hitting or exceeding growth and revenue targets.
- Experience leading and aligning cross-functional go-to-market teams (Sales, Marketing, CS, Partnerships) toward shared goals.
- Strong general-management skills: strategy, planning, forecasting, and operating discipline.
- Experience selling into or operating within the mortgage or lending industry, with relationships that open doors.
- Proven ability to build and scale teams in a high-growth environment.
- Excellent executive presence and communication; credible with senior buyers and internal leadership alike.
