About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- As a Dev Ops Engineer II, you are a member of a dynamic and agile DevOps team responsible for building the platforms, systems, and services that power our customer facing products.
- You will work closely with our Software Engineers as well as your Engineering Management leadership team to stay ahead of the curve with our products, architecture, and the latest DevOps principles.
- You will participate in driving operational best practices on your team and drive improvements as necessary.
- The DevOps Engineer II will also contribute to Trustwell's cloud-native platform initiatives, including Kubernetes (EKS), GitOps-based deployment models, infrastructure automation, container orchestration, and platform modernization efforts.
- This role will help design, build, operate, and continuously improve scalable application platforms and deployment systems that support Trustwell's product portfolio.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3-7 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure Engineering, or a related discipline
- At least 4 years of experience operating production cloud environments such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and their associated services
- Experience supporting Kubernetes-based production workloads
- Experience with cloud-native architectures and modern deployment methodologies
- Strong hands-on experience in Infrastructure-as-Code and Configuration management tools and technologies (Terraform, CloudFormation, or/and Ansible)
- Strong hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI, GitHub Actions, TeamCity, Jenkins, or similar technologies)
- Experience working on infrastructure projects in an Agile environment
- Ability to team up with people from different disciplines and drive to a win-win
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud services including networking, IAM, load balancing, monitoring, and container services
