About the role
- Run daily stand-ups and planning meetings with the development team;
- Serve as the bridge between the product and development teams, aligning requirements, expectations and timelines;
- Own the lifecycle of various development projects, including research, development, design, evaluation, testing and delivery to product management, reporting status to the Director of Engineering and other stakeholders;
- Manage software development technical teams, discussing the conception and development of new products as well as the maintenance and evolution of existing products; define team and project priorities and allocate resources;
- Participate in meetings with internal and external clients to define requirements;
- Ensure the team follows the processes and procedures of the company’s software development unit;
- Support the team by removing impediments, assisting with understanding functional specifications, coordinating integration with other technical teams and ensuring team productivity;
- Help the company continuously improve development processes.
Requirements
- Experience managing people and development teams, including hiring, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, running meetings, documentation, planning and metrics.
- Strong business analysis skills.
- Strong English communication skills: able to organize and participate in frequent calls and meetings with native and non-native English speakers, both understanding and speaking English fluently.
- Experience with CI tools.
- Experience working with Agile projects and methodologies.
- Previous experience in web systems design and development, enabling participation in technical meetings, understanding, evaluating and providing feedback to ensure technical solutions meet functional requirements.
- Experience developing payment/financial systems or integrations.
- Experience with UX-related projects.
- Experience in the Scrum Master role.
- Experience participating in international projects.
