About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with the Senior People Partner to embed the HRBP/People Partnering model across business functions
- Act as a strategic sounding board for senior leadership and managers
- Support high performance and diagnose root causes of team and functional issues
- Amplify manager and team capability
- Support development and rollout of capability frameworks, feedback models, ways of working and role capabilities
- Handle employee relations casework as required
- Provide pragmatic support through disciplinary and grievance investigation processes and outcomes
- Report to the Director of People & Talent
- Serve as a trusted point of contact across the business
- Contribute to initiatives shaping how the company works
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in a People Partner or HRBP role, ideally within a fully-remote, fast-paced scale-up
- Understanding and hands-on experience embedding the HRBP model within a People Function
- Commercial acumen and people advocacy
- Comfortable leading or supporting disciplinary and grievance investigations
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law, HR policy and best practice
- Confident advising and building relationships with managers and employees at all levels
- Curiosity and a solutions-focused mindset, particularly around manager capability and High Performance
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to balance pragmatism with empathy and fairness
- Experience working in a fully-remote environment, ideally within a scale-up moving towards a High Performance culture
- CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent hands-on experience
- Experience using HRIS platforms; Humaans experience is relevant
- Google Workspace experience is a plus
- UK tax residency compliance required for worldwide remote work
