About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide individual and small-group counseling to K–12 students during the school day
- Complete intakes, risk assessments, and individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based mental health interventions tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with school staff, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Participate in student support meetings and school-based coordination as appropriate
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency and district requirements
- Respond to student mental health crises and coordinate appropriate follow-up care
- Attend required supervision, team meetings, and professional development activities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Active South Carolina license in one of the following: LMSW LISW-CP LPC LPC-A LMFT Licensed Psychologist (LP)
- Experience working with children and adolescents in school or community settings
- Strong assessment, treatment planning, and clinical documentation skills
- Ability to manage services across multiple school sites
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to pass all required school-based background checks
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred
