Cloud Engineer

• Designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure
• Ensuring scalability, security, and reliability of cloud environments
• Supporting cloud migrations, automation initiatives, and operational improvements
• Deploying and maintaining cloud-based applications and services
• Identifying and resolving Azure-related problems
• Setting up virtual machines, storage and network resources
• Migrating data from on-premises or legacy systems to the Cloud
• Administering all aspects of M365 enterprise applications such as Microsoft Intune, Defender, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive
• Monitoring system health and troubleshooting technical issues
• Identifying technical requirements and managing project timelines
• Identifying and recommending opportunities for optimization and cost savings in the cloud environment
• Documenting configurations, processes, and procedures
• Automating administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts
• Implementing security and compliance policies
• Managing user accounts, permissions, and licensing
• Ensuring seamless integration, security, and optimal performance of Microsoft 365 applications
• Responsible for Patch Management/Vulnerability Remediation
• Active Directory and Microsoft Entra Management
• Helpdesk Support technical assistance, troubleshooting, and user support
• Asset Management including inventory management, budgeting, vendor coordination, reporting and auditing
• Monitoring, maintaining and resolving network performance, availability and security issues
• Ensuring network devices are up to date with OS versions, firmware updates, and equipment lifecycle.
• Other duties or special projects as assigned.
