Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develops concepts, designs, edits and proofs compelling creative, content, promotional and/or marketing materials
  • Provides hands-on design and production services from concept to execution for a full range of digital and print collateral
  • Uses rationale to present creative concepts and can defend work based upon strategy inputs.
  • Has a comprehensive understanding of direct response creative drivers and develops designs that deliver customer-centric results.
  • Leverages a comprehensive understanding of audience to develop compelling creative that drives action.
  • Visually communicates complex information through simplified, relevant creative.
  • Ensures alignment with brand, business area, production, and compliance standards.
  • Maintains defined standards and voice.
  • Uses performance data to iterate and improve creative assets.
  • Updates and maintains internal databases of design, imagery, photography, and video.
  • Completes and leverages departmental direct response best practices training.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design closely related field, or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years in professional graphic design capacity.
  • Excellent design ability and advanced skill level using Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Strong attention to detail and deadline-orientation, ensuring consistent, timely, and accurate work.
  • Experience working in collaborative environments.
  • Ability to self-manage and follow guidelines.
  • Ability to manage projects.
  • Ability to take feedback and implement it into work products.
  • Diverse, relevant work samples.
  • Experience designing for the financial services or credit union industry a plus.
