About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develops concepts, designs, edits and proofs compelling creative, content, promotional and/or marketing materials
- Provides hands-on design and production services from concept to execution for a full range of digital and print collateral
- Uses rationale to present creative concepts and can defend work based upon strategy inputs.
- Has a comprehensive understanding of direct response creative drivers and develops designs that deliver customer-centric results.
- Leverages a comprehensive understanding of audience to develop compelling creative that drives action.
- Visually communicates complex information through simplified, relevant creative.
- Ensures alignment with brand, business area, production, and compliance standards.
- Maintains defined standards and voice.
- Uses performance data to iterate and improve creative assets.
- Updates and maintains internal databases of design, imagery, photography, and video.
- Completes and leverages departmental direct response best practices training.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design closely related field, or equivalent work experience
- 5 years in professional graphic design capacity.
- Excellent design ability and advanced skill level using Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
- Strong attention to detail and deadline-orientation, ensuring consistent, timely, and accurate work.
- Experience working in collaborative environments.
- Ability to self-manage and follow guidelines.
- Ability to manage projects.
- Ability to take feedback and implement it into work products.
- Diverse, relevant work samples.
- Experience designing for the financial services or credit union industry a plus.
