About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Leads creative development of marketing and communications strategies that align with brand and audience goals
- Develops concepts (design), based upon strategic inputs, that meet defined objectives
- Uses rationale to present creative concepts and can defend work based upon strategy inputs
- Has an in-depth understanding of B2B2C audience and brand drivers and develops creative that drives business results
- Leads small scope copy based creative projects from inception to completion
- Leverages an in-depth understanding of product benefits to develop compelling creative that drives action
- Takes complex product information and creates simplified and easily digested (design)
- Ensures alignment with brand, product, production, and compliance standards
- Maintains defined standards and voice
- Recruits, mentors, and trains (designers) on brand standards and voice
- Completes and leverages departmental direct response best practices training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experience
- Advanced degree preferred
- 7 years of experience in a direct response consumer marketing business or agency environment
- Strong knowledge of creative process in the delivery of marketing materials and programs
- Superior copywriting skills
- Strong command of grammar and punctuation
- Proven ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
- Strong attention to detail
