Key responsibilities & impact

Completes assigned legal aspects of corporate projects for the businesses, operations and corporate affairs
Assists in the handling of complex legal matters, under the supervision and guidance of senior attorneys
Manages own workload and occasionally provides informal guidance to colleagues with less experience
Provides legal advice, opinions and counseling to TruStage
Determines, investigates, researches, and analyzes all legal aspects of projects
Negotiates and drafts legal documents
Directs, manages and supervises outside counsel
Represents TruStage and its affiliates before governmental, legislative and regulatory agencies
Develops legal expertise and high degree of knowledge of TruStage
Participates in cross functional teams and special projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Juris Doctor degree
Authorized to practice law in the State of Wisconsin or applicable jurisdiction
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to present oneself and interact with others in a manner that inspires trust and invites consultation
Ability to think and act quickly and perform under significant pressure and deadlines
Sound organizational and planning skills
Ability to work harmoniously and professionally with others.
