About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead functional projects or represent the team on corporate initiatives
  • Create, maintain, and improve business process documentation and tools.
  • Coordinate change management for affected staff/partners, providing training and support.
  • Develops working relationships with members of the management team in successful attainment of business unit goals and objectives.
  • Assemble and lead cross functional teams as needed to accomplish assigned project or business objective.
  • Identifies, creates and implements tools and processes that support product and service.
  • Research, analyze and collaborate with cross functional partners in recommending business capabilities and solutions
  • Provide support and input into product development/enhancements based upon marketplace acceptance, marketplace need, emerging directions and competitive environment.
  • Assists in the management of profit and loss for a product/program or for a component of large/complex product/program.
  • Execute product/program level strategy.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Commercial Property & Casualty insurance experience preferred
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading projects and initiatives requiring cross-functional collaboration
  • Proven skills in negotiating and influencing
  • Demonstrated experience in business process development, process improvement, documentation, and change management
  • Analytical, problem-solving, planning, prioritization, and organizational skills
  • Agile learner – ability to quickly understand product and process and develop subject matter expertise
  • Ability to apply business strategy development concepts and strategy analysis models at the product/program level.
  • Ability to clearly communicate in a range of methods.
