  • Conducts independent analysis and draws conclusions within LOB or actuarial function
  • Recognizes potential issues and performs basic research
  • Identifies and proposes alternative analytic approaches

  • Actively pursue actuarial accreditation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics or a related field
  • Two-plus years' work experience required
  • Experience in an analytical or insurance setting
  • Successful completion of four to five exams or knowledge consistent with and the ability to apply exam material
  • Ability to maintain and understand complex models
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Ability to write basic actuarial reports
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
