About the role
- Lead full‑time sector coverage, including higher‑complexity industries; perform credit research and relative‑value analysis
- Independently structure and assess risk on complex transactions, including covenant and documentation review
- Conduct earnings reviews and private placement reviews on a scheduled basis; deliver clear, actionable insights
- Present sector views and recommendations to investment committees and senior leadership
- Build and maintain strong relationships with bankers, issuers, and market sources
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive culture
Requirements
- 5+ years of credit research experience in fixed income
- 5+ years of private placements experience preferred
- Expertise covering complex sectors and independently driving recommendations
- Strong modeling, analytical, and risk‑assessment skills
- Graduate degree and/or CFA preferred
- Proficiency in Bloomberg and Microsoft Office; Power BI or programming is a plus
- Ability to travel 10–35%
