About the role

  • Serve as the key point of contact with assigned credit unions
  • Continually enhancing and building upon overall business relationship
  • Gather detailed information about accounts, analyze and prioritize information resulting in the development of sales strategies
  • Lead cross-discipline sales account teams to establish, implement, and monitor a service level agreement
  • Manage performance - to - sales plan and territory plans using metrics and scorecards
  • Develop and deliver proposals; forecast and report on sales activity
  • Maintain ongoing, timely knowledge and awareness of activities and challenges/opportunities
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of diverse financial services markets
  • Continue to develop sales, business and leadership competencies
  • Conduct self in a manner consistent with established policies and procedures of ethical market conduct and integrity

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably within the financial services industry
  • Strong sales aptitude and proven track record of success
  • Demonstrated knowledge of TruStage products and services, with in-depth understanding of the customers, business, industry, and market preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, plan projects and maintain deadlines with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to comprehend and follow complex processes, with aptitude for continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, relationship building, problem-solving skills, and customer service skills
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate computer technology into sales processes
  • Demonstrated strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively build business relationships with internal and external clients
  • Proven experience in developing strategies which will improve competitive position
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver effective presentations
  • Life and Health Insurance License and P&C License (both resident and non-resident immediately upon or 90 days after employment)
  • Up to 75% travel required
