About the role
- Serve as the key point of contact with assigned credit unions
- Continually enhancing and building upon overall business relationship
- Gather detailed information about accounts, analyze and prioritize information resulting in the development of sales strategies
- Lead cross-discipline sales account teams to establish, implement, and monitor a service level agreement
- Manage performance - to - sales plan and territory plans using metrics and scorecards
- Develop and deliver proposals; forecast and report on sales activity
- Maintain ongoing, timely knowledge and awareness of activities and challenges/opportunities
- Develop and maintain an understanding of diverse financial services markets
- Continue to develop sales, business and leadership competencies
- Conduct self in a manner consistent with established policies and procedures of ethical market conduct and integrity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Insurance or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience, preferably within the financial services industry
- Strong sales aptitude and proven track record of success
- Demonstrated knowledge of TruStage products and services, with in-depth understanding of the customers, business, industry, and market preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, plan projects and maintain deadlines with strong organizational skills
- Ability to comprehend and follow complex processes, with aptitude for continuous improvement
- Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal, relationship building, problem-solving skills, and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to integrate computer technology into sales processes
- Demonstrated strong collaboration and teamwork abilities
- Demonstrated ability to effectively build business relationships with internal and external clients
- Proven experience in developing strategies which will improve competitive position
- Demonstrated ability to deliver effective presentations
- Life and Health Insurance License and P&C License (both resident and non-resident immediately upon or 90 days after employment)
- Up to 75% travel required
