About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own the entire leasing process: from handling inquiries and screening tenants to preparing and managing digital lease agreements.
  • Serve as the main contact for all tenant needs, providing excellent and professional customer service.
  • Skillfully coordinate smooth move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and security deposit returns.
  • Oversee rent collection and professionally manage the eviction process when necessary, following all procedures.
  • Receive, prioritize, and dispatch our maintenance team and vendors to resolve property issues.
  • Coordinate property turnovers and minor renovations, creating schedules and ensuring they stay on track and within budget.
  • Maintain perfectly organized digital files for all properties, tenants, and work orders in our property management software.
  • Track all maintenance and project expenses, review invoices, and help us run a cost-efficient operation.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant in Property Management is essential.
  • Your background must include both tenant relations and maintenance coordination.
  • Confident in your ability to direct team members and manage vendors.
  • Strong understanding of the US real estate rental process (leasing, tenant laws, etc.).
  • Experience managing schedules, ordering materials, and tracking budgets.
  • Comfortable working full-time on a US time zone schedule (graveyard shift).
  • You must have your own reliable, high-speed internet connection and a quiet, dedicated workspace at home.
