About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design complete, end-to-end user experiences for defined product areas, including user flows, interaction patterns, and final implementation-ready visuals.
  • Drive product features from initial concept through to implementation, working with guidance from senior team members.
  • Convert complex product requirements into intuitive and clear user experiences.
  • Specialize in multi-step workflows, addressing elements like branching logic, validation states, and edge cases.
  • Design effective system feedback mechanisms, including error states and retry flows.
  • Ensure clarity and accessibility in operational interfaces and data-heavy dashboards.
  • Work in tight partnership with Product Managers and Engineers to align on requirements and technical feasibility.
  • Actively participate in product discovery phases and design reviews.
  • Clearly articulate design decisions and skillfully incorporate feedback from cross-functional partners.
  • Apply and extend Trulioo’s established design system using Figma components and patterns.
  • Maintain high standards for consistency, accessibility, and visual quality across all product surfaces.
  • Adhere to best practices in visual hierarchy, layout, and interaction design.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years of experience in Product Design or UX/UI Design.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing excellence in interaction and visual design, preferably within SaaS, B2B, or data-intensive product environments.
  • Demonstrated experience designing structured workflows, dashboards, or other sophisticated SaaS product interfaces.
  • Proficiency in Figma, including deep familiarity with components and auto-layout features.
  • Working knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and the ability to apply them independently.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently on clearly defined tasks.
  • Comfort utilizing AI tools (e.g., Figma Make, ChatGPT) for ideation and iterative design processes.
  • Familiarity with user research and usability testing sufficient to participate in studies and apply findings.
