About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Harvest cannabis material and prepare, weigh, and log it for transportation to dry rooms

  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and bag excess plant material
  • Clean, sanitize, and store equipment after use
  • Follow company safety rules and regulations
  • Perform manual cross-department duties as needed
  • Maintain a positive, safe, and clean environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge and understanding of cannabis handling including harvesting, drying, curing, and trimming is a plus, but not required
  • Maintain good discipline and attendance standards
  • Ability to work hands on with cannabis plant material daily
  • Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the production department as needed/requested by the direct supervisor
  • Ability to work as a team unit while completing tasks and creating constructive collaboration with members of other departments
  • Create a proactive environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated, innovative, and a team player
  • Excellent time management skills, driving efficiency and productivity to ensure goals are consistently met while maintaining high quality finished product
  • Remain compliant with all legal and company regulations
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have valid Driver’s License or ability to obtain one
  • Must pass a comprehensive background screening
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 50 lbs to a minimum height of 5 feet and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance
  • Must be able to work seated/standing at workstations for extended periods and perform climbing, stopping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and frequent/constant hand movements
  • Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions, including temperatures of 95 degrees or greater
  • Must have visual acuity with/without job aids for computer use and detailed visual inspection in day and night/dark conditions
  • Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc.
  • Must be available to work 40+ hours weekly, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
